The Process

Five Phases.
Zero Surprises.

Every smart home electrical project follows the same sequence. You always know which phase you're in and what comes next.

01
Load Analysis & Site Survey

Assessment

We walk every square foot with a clamp meter and a conversation. Your existing service capacity, planned load additions — Level 2 chargers, heat pumps, induction ranges — and the smart systems you envision get mapped against the physical reality of your structure.

Client Receives

Load Analysis Report

Est. 1–2 Days

02
Wiring Schematic & System Architecture

Design

Every circuit gets a reason, a route, and a rating. We produce a full wiring schematic that specifies panel size, breaker allocation, wire gauge by run, and integration points for lighting controllers, thermostats, and access hardware — submitted for permit before we touch a single stud.

Client Receives

Permitted Wiring Schematic

Est. 3–5 Days

03
Panel Installation & Conduit Run

Rough-In

Walls open, the new smart panel goes in — 200A or 400A depending on your load calc — and every conduit run gets pulled clean and labeled at both ends. Dedicated circuits for each major load zone. Low-voltage backbone for data, lighting, and audio follows the same path, keeping the finished walls clean.

Client Receives

Rough-In Inspection Photo Set

Est. 3–7 Days

04
Smart Device Binding & App Configuration

Integration

Switches, dimmers, thermostats, EV chargers, and door locks get bound to the control platform — Lutron, Control4, or HomeKit depending on your preference. Every device named, every scene built, every automation tested. We don't hand off until your nightstand screen controls everything in the house.

Client Receives

App Walkthrough Recording

Est. 2–4 Days

05
Final Inspection & Handoff

Commissioning

City inspection, load verification under real conditions, and a full system walkthrough with whoever will live in the house. Every circuit labeled on the panel door. Every scene documented. You leave knowing exactly what each breaker feeds, what each automation does, and how to call us if anything ever changes.

Client Receives

Certificate of Completion

The System Works.
Here's the Proof.

"We spec Circuit on every custom build over 3,000 sq ft. The load analysis report alone saves us two rounds of electrical revisions. Their schematic is permit-ready on first submission, every time."
